Maximize returns from your organizational's assets by implementing an Asset Management System based on ISO 55001

Realizing the benefits to be gained by enhancing and optimizing an organization’s asset performance through the management of its assets in a systematic manner, SIRIM QAS International recently launched a new certification scheme - the Asset Management System Certification Scheme.  The scheme is based on the International Standard ISO 55001:2014. ISO 55001 specifies requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and improving an organization's asset management system.  Although the standard is primarily intended for organizations where the management of physical assets is central to their business, it is equally applicable to organizations in managing intangible assets and can be applied by organizations of any size operating in any sector.  It is for organizations that want to demonstrate good practice in asset management consistently to satisfy the needs and expectations of internal and external stakeholders.
