ISO 55001:2014 “Asset management systems – Requirements” is an International Standard that specifies requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and improving an organization’s asset management system. This International Standard can be applied to all types of assets and by all types and sizes of organizations. It is for the organization to determine which of its assets that the system shall apply. It is intended for organizations who want to demonstrate good practice in asset management consistently in accordance with customer and applicable regulatory requirements. ISO 55001 standard can be applied by organizations of any size operating in any sectors.
